Projects in depth: the problem, the build and what happened

FAQ

About our case studies

Why are some clients not named in your case studies?+

Some clients run products that hold sensitive personal or commercial data and prefer not to be identified. In those cases we describe the client by type and country, and everything else — the engagement, the stack, the timeline and the outcome — is reported exactly as it happened. We never invent a client name or a quote.

Why are there so few case studies when you have delivered 500+ projects?+

Because a case study is only useful if it contains specifics, and specifics need the client’s permission. The portfolio shows the breadth of work; this page shows selected projects in depth, and grows as clients agree to be written up.

Do you publish measured results?+

When the client shares them and allows us to publish, yes. When they do not, we say so on the page rather than estimate. A case study with an honest “we cannot publish the numbers” is worth more to you than one with numbers we cannot stand behind.

Can I speak to a past client before hiring you?+

Often, yes. Ask when you contact us and we will put you in touch with a client whose project resembles yours, where they have agreed to take reference calls.
